Killer v King is a Indie/Alternative/Psych music group from Austin Texas looking to push the technological boundaries of looping, song creation, and live entertainment. In a world where much of live music has gone to DJ sets this group sets themselves apart by utilizing elements of EDM. Inspired by a wide range of terrific artists such as the white stripes, the mars volta, deftones, 21 pilots, mute math, this group sets themselves apart with their high energy and creative concepts. The name Killer v King comes from the idea of choice and duality. A person always has many choices such as to kill or to not kill, to react or to take a moment to understand the issue at hand. These branches of logic are the propagators of the lives we lead. The v in Killer v King actually stands for the or (disjoint) operator in logic that essentially means there are two choices. Whether the band is read as “killer vs king” or “killer or king” the idea is the same. Small choices we make change the path of our entire lives.
